We appreciate the holistic approach of this dentist, but the rising costs for services are simply unacceptable. Charging nearly $300 for a dental cleaning—something that's meant to be preventative—makes it frustrating for people when they think about visiting the dentist in network or out of network. It's no wonder that many can't afford dental care and become hesitant to seek it out.

Dr. Bechtel is the best dentist I have ever been to! I came to his office after needing to change dentists after experiencing dental trauma. When I was first a new patient he had to fix a lot of work that the previous dentist had done and that was super overwhelming for me. I was very open with how I was feeling and he and his staff were very accommodating and understanding. When it came time to do the work, they offered nitros (laughing gas) to help ease the anxious feelings which no other dentist had ever offered before. And it made all the difference in the world for the procedures! Not only was his work impeccable but I left feeling cared for with a restored trust in the right dentist. It’s been a game changer for me! I also love that he doesn’t do unnecessary work. In other words, he will often watch things before taking action unless it’s absolutely necessary. And he works with you if you feel like you need to wait on something without making you feel bad. That’s HUGE. It’s like working as a team. I highly recommend!

Unlike any dentist I've been to! Dr. Betchel was thorough and took time to explain each tooth with an issue, and showed me the pictures with a detail of the procedure needed. A plan was made for treatment. Im a self pay, no insurance, and they have many payment options to offer! Every staff encounter was friendly and pleasant! Best of all... I've been given peace of mind to find someone who aligns with holistic practices and not the standard dentistry with harmful chemicals and proceedures!

I drive about an hour and 20 minutes to get my dental work done, scheduling isn't always the easiest, but Dr. Bechtel is highly sought after, and pays attention to detail. I wish there were more dentists like him in the Detroit area. As for some of the negative comments, yes I had a mishap with my crown, but that's on the laboratory, but in my book, a good dentist, and a confident smile is worth the drive, and wait, thank you Dr. Bechtel. Dr. Bechtel and his staff are Great !!! I’ve been a customer for over 20 years and I love it here. Dr. Bechtel is kind, thorough and always concerned for my health. His office is clean and comfortable. His kind demeanor has never changed. He takes good care of my teeth!!! Highly recommend his practice.
